The CIPP process is an excellent trenchless option for lining 4” through 12” diameter pipe. Due to the lining material’s flexibility, pipe can be lined with a 90 degree bend and can also handle a size increase transition. As with any trenchless repair method, the existing superstructure is left undisturbed.
The flexible, resin coated liner is inserted into the existing host pipe through a manhole or cleanout. The liner is inflated to conform to the shape of the host pipe. Heat and pressure introduced through the portal quickly completes the curing process and minimizes disruptions in service.
Reinstatement cutters are used in tandem with CCTV cameras to accurately cut away the lining material and restore the lateral connections to full function after the lining process.
